Destination: College

Destination: College is an extension of our academic-year advising services for high school graduates. Our staff is available during the summer to help transition students to their first year of college. Participants receive weekly reminders of important college tasks and our flexible schedules allow us to meet their needs via Zoom, phone call, or in person.

Career Day

ITE welcomed middle and high school students to the San Diego State University campus for a day of career exploration. Students got a chance to hear about different career paths, talk to current and former ITE students, engage in workshops with professionals, and eat in a college dining hall.

STEAM Day

STEAM Exploration Day invites high school students to attend workshops, labs, presentations, student panels and hands-on activities related to the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields. The Institute for Transformative Education partners with SDSU professors, student organizations, community organizations, local businesses and subject matter experts to host the event.
